Book Review 4 The Dragon Painter

This is The Dragon Painter. A man whose name is Chang was good at painting. One day, the emperor of China asked him to paint his temple. Chang decided to draw dragons. His painting looked like alive. He scared to paint dragons' eyes because these might be alive. But, the emperor made him to paint it. Then, these were indeed alive and moved. He painted chain around dragons, and dragons couldn't move.

When I read the book, I thought why Chang doesn't paint dragons' eyes. It was very fun that dragons were alive to be painted these eyes. Also, his painting of dragons was most wonderful painting in his life because others didn't be alive only these looked like real painting. [121 words]

My many hobbies

My hobby is listening to the music. I also like fishing. When I was child, I often went to the sea to do fishing with my father. But I seldom go to fish now. I like to go shopping too. It is very fun to find interesting things! It is just looking. I look clothes, accessories and so on. I often go to shopping with my friend, but I sometimes go alone.

Music I like

I like Japanese pop music and also like to play instruments. When I was high school student, I play the clarinet in my club. I play various music like classics and famous Japanese pop music and so on. I like Yuki. I often listen to her song. Especially I like " CHE.R.RY" very much. My spring vacation

My spring vacation is very busy for part-time job. I worked at Japanese restaurant which has Udon, Sushi, Tenpura and so on. I worked 4 times a week. However, I took part in some volunteer during this vacation. For example I look after children. Also, I went to eat with my friends who were same high school's class mates. Book Review 3 Cinderella

I read Cinderella. Cinderella was doing house work by her stepmother. She wanted to go to the party, however her stepmother didn't permit her. She was demanded to prepare Christmas' decorations. Then, Godmother appeared and made her beautiful by her magic. Cinderella enjoyed the party to dance with a prince. When she came back home, she had lost her one of shoes. The prince was looking for her. They could meet again, and married.

It's very wonderful story. However hard Cinderella was, she did anything her stepmother asked to. She is very serious. However, her step mother is a very bad person. As soon as Cinderella married, her stepsister made housework by her stepmother instead of her. I hate like her stepmother because she is selfish. I wish Cinderella enjoys her life with the prince forever. [135 words]

I was interested in a book whose title is chocolate because I like chocolates. Once upon a time, people found a cocoa and tried to eat. It was delicious so people often ate it. I was surprised that chocolate is a drink first. Chocolate is also very valuable food and it was only previous people to eat chocolate. It was bitter old time, so a man put sugar into chocolate and it was made sweet. If it is not sweet, I will not like it. Many people’s efforts make delicious chocolate. [91 words]

Korean

My aunts are going to travel to Korea in May. They invited me, but I have classes, so I can't go together. That is a pity! I wish I could go together. If I went there, I would like to see my penpal who lives in Korea. She is a university student and studies a little Japanese. She is very kindly person and talks many interesting stories about her life and Korea. I asked her whether she like Japanese food like Udon, Sushi and rice cake, she answered “yes”. Udon makes our body hot, so she likes to eat in winter, she said. Of course I like it.

book review 1 Marmaids

It has 3 stories in this book.

First story is that a mermaid whose name is Harmony goes out to find seaweed so that she cures her sick mother. She went to fearful place alone at where there were ships which were broken. When she found seaweed, she came across the ghost seems to a pirate. She doubted to steal his treasures and she put in a cabin. She has not gone out for some days, but he felt very sorry to her and he permitted her leave. Finally she could cure her mother's sick.
I think the ghost is very gentle. It is lucky for her that it was not bad person who she met.

Next is a story of a mermaid who wants to get her feet. She so yearned to dance on the land that she wanted to own her feet. She got her feet and enjoyed to dance, and she had a boyfriend. But she tired to live with not tail but her feet. She has needed to decide whether she lives her feet or her tail. Her boyfriend said he got his tail and live with her in the sea. And they lived happily.
It is very emotional story! He loved her, so he didn't want to make her sad. What a wonderful decision! He is so cool. I think that she didn't think he decided to get his tail and live under the sea. She seemed happy.

the restaurant's decorations

It is the children's day in May 5. So, the restaurant which I work part-time is decorationed carp-shaped streamer. That is to say, it is Koinobori in Japanese. It is suspended from the ceiling. I think you don't notice it if you look above.
Decorations is changed by the seasons in this restaurant. In March, there was a doll displayed on the Girl's Festival day. In January, there was also a dancing Shishimai. It was liked by children.

The Pizza Party

I went to my friend house and enjoyed the pizza party with my friends today. It was four people including me. First, we went a supermarket and bought some snacks. Then, we went to her house and ordered pizzas. These were very delicious!
